400 meters from the Pattemouche cable car that takes you directly to Sestriere and the Vialattea slopes.

With the ski pass purchased at the foot of the cable car you have access to all the slopes of the Via Lattea (400 km of slopes) passing through Sestriere Sansicario Cesana Claviere you can get there with skis on your feet up to Montgenèvre.

The slopes of Sestriere Via Lattea are over 2,000 meters above sea level so even with little snowfall it is possible to ski on artificial snow.

At the end of the day with good snow conditions you can return to the Baita with skis on your feet, skiing on a very beautiful slope through the woods.

The Chalet is located in front of the Troncea Valley Natural Park with the possibility of many hikes of varying difficulty on foot and by bicycle .

There are no grocery stores in the Plan village, so to get groceries you have to take car and go to Pragelato (3.5 km) or Sestriere (9 km)
